MELBOURNE, Aus (Donovan Bailey WWWsite) -- Donovan Bailey finished a distant third in a 100-metre race at the Melbourne Grand Prix today.
Despite a headwind of 1.6 metres per second, American Maurice Greene won the race with a time of 10.06 seconds.
Bailey was timed at 10.36 seconds, behind Greene and American Jon Drummond who had a mark of 10.13 seconds.
Bailey was said to have a slight hamstring in running this race at Melbourne's Olympic Park.
