RALEIGH, North Carolina (Donovan Bailey WWWsite) -- Johnson still plans to compete in July's Goodwill Games in New York, but there will be no special match race with 100-meter world record holder Donovan Bailey, Johnson's agent Brad Hunt said.
"The match-race discussions were all an issue of publicity seeking for the competition at the Goodwill Games," Hunt said.
"It never had any foundation. There's not any chance of it happening."
Bailey won a highly publicised 150-meter race at Toronto's SkyDome last year when Johnson pulled up injured. The injury forced
Johnson to miss part of last season, but he recovered in time to win the world 400 meters title at Athens.
